Full of opportunities

The progression to Sixth Form is an important and exciting step for all students; it brings choices, challenges and opportunities, as well as newfound independence as students become young adults and decision-makers.

In the Sixth Form, we aim to provide students with the critical life skills that will enable them to make balanced and educated choices about their future, enabling them to take responsibility for the next steps in their educational journey.

The supportive and nurturing atmosphere of our Sixth Form allows all students to settle in quickly and make new friends along the way. With a diverse student body who possess a wide range of interests, there are many types of students attracted to the school and there is no typical Fulham student.

We firmly believe that all students have a uniqueness which can be enhanced. Encouraging students to go further in areas that excite them, while giving them an opportunity to develop a strong sense of self-confidence, allows them to flourish and be their best selves in this important developmental stage.

At Fulham, our goals are simple:

  • To encourage the development of creative, problem-solving individuals with tenacity, kindness and secure self-worth
  • To provide the most distinctive, forward-thinking and outward-looking co-educational environment, where diverse abilities are recognised, celebrated and given the fullest expression

By choosing to study at Fulham Sixth Form, students have the opportunity to undertake one of the most rigorous, holistic and academically significant diplomas in the world, the International Baccalaureate. The IB diploma is thoroughly complemented by our broad variety of co-curricular activities, clubs and leadership opportunities, all with the goal of enriching our student’s lives both academically and personally.

In 2021 we are proud to unveil our new Chesilton Road site, which has been purpose-built for our young adults. Our fantastic location means London will become an extension of the classroom, enabling students to experience the excitement and independence that undergraduate life can offer, with nearby libraries, green spaces and cafes.

There are many ways Sixth Formers at Fulham can flourish, and it is exciting to see students make their transition to becoming young adults and well-rounded citizens of the world. We look forward to welcoming you into ours.
