Fulham School is announcing a shift to concentrate on its strengths as a leading London Pre-Prep and Prep School, alongside a curriculum alignment with the rigorous academics of Inspired’s Wetherby and Pembridge Hall schools. This transition will enhance educational pathways at both the Fulham High Street and Greyhound Road campuses. In addition, students in Year 8 and below will be encouraged to apply to Wetherby Pembridge, Inspired’s new co-educational senior school opening in Kensington in September 2025 benefiting from world-class facilities and maintaining a focus on Inspired’s core pillars: academics, sports, and performing arts.
Nicholas Wergan, CEO of Inspired Education U.K., stated:
“This alignment promises to uphold Fulham School's high standards and focus on its core DNA as a highly successful Prep and Pre-Prep School. We are committed to supporting all our students to achieve their highest ambitions and exciting destination schools, including the newly opening Wetherby Pembridge senior school. While no new students will begin their GCSE studies at Chesilton Road in the year groups that follow, we will ensure our Year 10 students receive the very best teaching and learning through to the completion of their GCSE programme and likewise our Year 12 students to the completion of their A Level studies.”
Since joining the Inspired Education Group a year ago, Fulham School has collaborated with Inspired’s fellow London schools such as the Wetherby Schools and Pembridge Hall. The new Wetherby Pembridge School in Kensington Olympia will initially admit students in Years 7 to 9, offering a natural senior pathway for London families.
Leadership and Curriculum Alignment
The curriculum alignment is led by Mark Snell and Tom Lewis, with Tom Lewis bringing experience from Wetherby School Kensington and Notting Hill. Mark Snell will join Tom and James McCarthy, Head at Fulham Pre Prep, to guide the leadership team as Education Director, embedding the Wetherby and Pembridge Hall curriculum across the Prep and Pre-Prep phases.
